Velotric is partnering with the University of California San Diego (UCSD) to launch an e-bike discount program for campus students, faculty and staff as part of an effort to increase the overall health and well-being via bike usage on campus.
Velotric, a leading innovator in the electric bike market, is working with UCSD (University of California San Diego) to launch a discount program aimed to promote e-bike ownership among UCSD’s students, faculty and staff. The discount program offers a 15-20% discount on Velotric’s range of e-bikes to those with a valid UCSD email address.
Adam Zhang, CEO and Co-Founder of Velotric, expressed his excitement about reaching a college audience stating, “Velotric is all about offering great bikes at great value, balancing excellent quality, safety, design with affordability— something that is perfect for college students. We believe this is an excellent way to introduce cycling as a viable mode of transportation to young adults.”
Velotric currently has several product lines including the versatile commuter Velotric Discover 1, the off-road adventure bike Velotric Nomad 1, and the lightweight fitness e-bikes Velotric T1 and Velotric T1ST. The brand recently released their latest utility e-bike series the Velotric Packer 1 cargo e-bike and Velotric Go 1 utility e-bike in July as well. All bikes are currently certified or undergoing UL 2271 and UL 2849 certification, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards of e-bike safety.
